We founded Cameron Ranch Glamping — one of the most viral and highly acclaimed glamping properties in the USA. PawHaus Resort is the next chapter, built for the one guest the original couldn't fully serve: your dog.

A note from the founder

Hi, I'm Garrett. Cameron Ranch welcomed your dog. PawHaus was built for them.

A few years ago I founded Cameron Ranch Glamping — one of the most viral luxury glamping properties in the country. Dogs were always welcome, and a lot of them came. But Cameron Ranch wasn't designed around them. It was designed for guests, who happened to bring a dog.

And every check-in, I'd watch a family work around that. Apologizing for muddy paws on the rug. Tying a leash to a deck post because there was no fenced yard. Skipping the trail because there was no water bowl halfway through it. Loving the place anyway — but always working a little harder than they should have to.

So I'm building the place that fixes all of that — twelve glass-and-pine cabins on 30 private acres, a fenced yard at every door, designated potty corners, a dog spa, a Vetster vet partnership, and a property that was designed paw-up from day one. If you book during pre-launch, you're not just getting 25% off. You're telling me you've been waiting for this too. I'll be there January 1, 2027 to shake your hand and meet your dog. See you then.

What we do differently — for dogs

A nature hotel designed paw-up from day one.

Most dog-friendly places tolerate your dog. PawHaus was built around them. Here's what that looks like in practice.

In your cabin

Already set up for them.

  • A dedicated dog bed in every cabin — theirs, not an afterthought.
  • Food and water bowls preset and waiting. No packing, no forgetting.
  • A welcome treat bag, pup-safe, sized for your dog, ready when you walk in.
  • Towel stash by the door for muddy paws.
  • Free nail trim & buff at the PawHaus Dog Spa — one per dog.
In your private yard

Their own little outdoors.

  • A designated potty corner — turf or decomposed-granite zone with a discreet cedar-framed waste station. No more midnight leash walks.
  • A shaded cedar dog cot under a sail shade — their bed outdoors, not just indoors.
  • Solar-heated outdoor shower + private cold rinse station per cabin. Mud stays outside; dogs come in fresh.
Across the property

30 acres made for sniffing.

  • 30 private wooded acres — on-leash for most of the property, with dedicated off-leash zones for the full zoomies experience.
  • Water bowls at every turn: lobby, every trailhead, and outside the café.
  • Poop bag stations everywhere you'd ever need one — you will never go hunting.
  • Free pup cups in the lobby every morning — you grab your pour-over, they grab theirs. On the house.
Our service

We treat them like family.

  • Staff that knows your dog's name before you arrive — and uses it. They're a regular from minute one.
  • 24/7 vet help via our Vetster partnership — talk to a vet over phone any hour.
  • 10–15 minutes from a daytime vet clinic and 30 minutes from a 24-hour emergency hospital. We've mapped the route already.
  • Temperament-tested + vaccinated guests only, so every dog is safe to roam.
Wash, spa & pool

Clean dog, relaxed human.

  • DIY dog wash station included — warm water, low-tearing shampoo, blow-dry stand, leash hook. Free, all day.
  • Prefer to skip the scrub? Drop them at the PawHaus Dog Spa for a full bath while you head to the pool or human spa next door.
  • Onsite human spa + pool open to all guests — so the whole pack gets pampered.
  • Spa add-on bookable at the front desk on arrival, or in advance with your reservation team.

The fine print, in plain English

House rules.

We keep PawHaus calm, clean, and safe for every dog on property. Six simple rules — read them before you book.

Temperament tested

Every dog is briefly screened on arrival. Aggressive or reactive dogs cannot stay — for the safety of the pack.

Vaccines verified

Rabies & DHPP required. Bordetella required if using grooming or the public dog park. Bring records to check-in.

Quiet hours 10 PM – 8 AM

Outdoor music off, voices low. Excessive barking after hours may result in being asked to leave.

Stay within cabin pet limits

Petite & Standard: up to 2 pets • Monolith: up to 3 pets. No exceptions — for everyone's comfort.

$250 refundable damage deposit

Pre-authorised at check-in. Released within 24 hours of check-out if no damage occurs.

Never leave dogs unattended

Dogs may not be left alone in cabins. Use the dog park, on-site daycare or our concierge if you need a break.

A portion of every booking

Every stay puts food in a shelter dog's bowl.

We built PawHaus for the people who bring their dog everywhere. But we know not every dog got the family we did. So a portion of every booking goes directly to a rotating list of local East Texas and Houston-area shelters — no marketing gimmick, no rounded-up checkout donation, just a real check written after every stay.

You show up. Your dog gets 30 acres. Another dog — one we'll probably never meet — gets a meal, a vaccine, a foster placement, or a spay/neuter surgery paid for. That's the trade.
